I have been using a nikon D70 with the 18-70 ED-IF Lens since February 2005, This Digital SLR has been fabulous. Image quality, battery life and ease of use. My wife will not put it down. We have taken to date more than 8500 images on this camera. I was originally a minolta guy and I upgraded from my X-700 to the D70 and it was the best decision I ever made. Now I have started to research a new cameral body to use with my D70 as i also have the 75-300 telephoto lens and at times it owuld be convenient to have a second digital body.
